My IPod 4g has problems downloading music!! help!?

Ok so i downloaded my CD'S and other music from itunes. When i listened to them on my itunes account, they sound perfectly fine, however, when i download them only my ipod, some words get cut off, or it fastforwards all of a sudden or it skips sections of the song! PLEASE HELP!!
