So I just bought my ipad 2 today and as I plugged it into my laptop to install to iTunes, nothing works. I tried plugging into the outlet wall and it does turn on, but when I plug it into my laptop in the USB drive, nothing happens. I've tried resetting, uninstalling and re-installing iTunes, updated my laptop to support the 64-bit, and all my USB outlets are working. Am I missing something? Please help!
Thanks MJ, I'm charging as we speak, but the iPad seems to have the sign for a full battery charge, instead of the usual lightning symbol. Does that mean something?
Actually, I decided to unplug and see the progress, but as soon as I unplugged it, the iPad died. I don't know if the batteries are bad or not, but I'm gonna let it run over night. Does anyone have an answer?
