My internal memory on Sanyo Zio is full, how can I get it to save on my 8BG card?

My biggest problem here is when I try to upload pictures to Facebook. It won't load because it says "Low on space. The application might not work properly. Internal storage low." Well...I have an 8GB card...so I don't see what the deal is. It's very frustrating and I have to keep deleting apps which makes having an Android phone useless. I bought the 8GB card because of this message I kept getting and it's still saying I have no space...but it's saying "Internal storage' and I just want to yell at the phone "Then put it on the card!!"

Anybody know what I can do here?
 
I often have the same problem i don't understand why it does that even when you have a memory card. But a way to clear some space on your phone is if you go to settings>applications>Manage Application>All. At this point i go and clear data on things such as the browser, calculator, clock, Gmail(if you have it), google search News weather, Youtube, and etc. NOTE: by doing this it will delete any previous searches, passwords,and usernames that you have. But it works. Hope this is helpful to you
