My interior lights are staying on inside my 97 Ford Expedition.?

Checked the most common things, doors,,
Just took it to Ford Service. He said it was going to start at $150.00 plus to start T/S. The interior light swich bright/dim is mid range. The guy at Ford Service said it could be anything. Lights are still on. The safety relay will power down the lights after some time. Door ajar light is working and seems to be operating normally. Where is that Lamp Overide button at?
 
Check the knob that turns the panel lights bright or dim- when it is fully clockwise it leave on the interior lights. Turn it counterclockwise a notch.
 
The switch is probaly bad at the light (if there is one) and the light fixture needs to be replaced. If your car says a door is ajar all the time the switch in the door jamb is bad (witch is connected to the dome light) and will have to be replaced.
 
theres a button inside called "LAMP OVERIDE" thats keeping it on, just find it in your manual or keep pressing buttons its most likley to the left of the steering wheel
