My iMac ...?

I have an older iMac, (( I bought it 1 year ago in April )) & there is a male voice that talks to you on it. It is EXTREMELY annoying and the only way to shut it off is to turn the volume off. Is there any other way of shutting him up? lol ... thanks!

Open up System Preferences and find Universal Access. Open that and choose Seeing, turn the voice over off.

Sure. Open your Preferences and go to "Speech". You can shut him up there.
