my idea for a horror film

SounRAB like you have copied the story from....

CREEP, Although it was done in an underground tube station and not a supermarket

Have you watched it recently by any chance?
 
IDEA THREE:

Its Christmas Eve and six girls are doing some last-minute shopping. They enter a very large mall, which is crowded. They decide it would be better if they split up so they can get the presents quicker. Maria, Sarah and Nicole go off together leaving Abi, Jane and Olivia to get the christmas food. Everything starts off well, it is set with the first of the two groups. They go into a shop, Maria sees a shadow rush past her. She decides to follow it. The last thing you here from her is, "What do you want?" And it is cut to Sarah. She realises she is on her own but soon finRAB Nicole in the crowded store. They decide it is too busy, but they can't find Maria. They ring her mobile but there is no answer. Nicole says it is best to talk to her later.

They leave the busy shop and go into a coffee shop, a young waitress comes over, she is shaking. She spills coffee all over Sarah by accident. The two girls go to the toilets. When they leave the toilets it is silent. They look around the mall and see it is deserted. Everything is too bizzare, Nicole says that they should just go home.

They walk over to the exits but it is locked. Sarah slams on the doors but they wont budge. Suddenly they hear screaming, they turn around and find Maria standing behind them screaming. She looks terrified and falls to the floor, dead. The two girls scream and panic. Nicole smashes the glass in the door and the pair struggle out.

The next scene is on a diserted lane, Nicole gets a phone call from Jane, asking her where they are. Nicole tries to explain but Jane thinks it is a joke. Nicole decides she should go back to the mall. When they return it is busy and crowded again.

After she sees the murdered security guard she goes looking for a phone but it's been torn off the wall of the managers office. As she leaves the office she sees a figure running away but before she can act she gets caught in a gas bottle explosion (in my version of the film she would be played by Keira Knightley and the explosion would blow most of her clothes off, but I digress...)

Miraculously unharmed apart from minor cuts and bruises our heroine cautiously stalks her attacker, pausing only to pick up a carving knife from Kitchenware, leading to a confrontation in the meat locker where the attacker is revealed to be her own mother, clearly distraut and bedraggled. Her mother is begging and pleading, asking her why she called her down here, why she killed the security guard and why she's trying to kill her own mother?!? And so Creep meets The Hole as our heroine is revealed to be the murderer all along, sent into a blood-spattered frenzy when her mother insisted that she picked up a packet of fishfingers when she was trying to watch X-Factor...
 
i think this story should be made into a new edition better and improved version of my little eye (it's like big brother incase none of you have watched it) where the supermarket is actually a staged supermarket where people watch them and like to watch them die

Tesco - Bloody Supermarket​

Plot: It is all about two girls who go shopping in Tesco, when they go to do there shopping they need to go to the toilets. When they come out of the toilets everyone has gone, vanished, its too quiet and spooky. They are like, oh my god where is everyone, they take a look around, still no sign of anyone. They try to go outside, they cant because the doors locked them in. So instead they get their trolleys and steel everything, they then try and smash something to the windows to get out, they managed ok. But then, as they get outside, people started to appear again, and then the police appeared and arrested them. The two girls are now in jail, waiting for someone to come and take them home. ;)

What do you think? i know its stupid, but thats the whole idea.

As well as Dawn, trapped in a supermarket also made me think of this...

Also, Stephen King's novellla The Mist where people are trapped in one surrounded by hideous monsters from god-knows-where. It's such a cracking idea that it's being made into a movie very soon by Frank 'Shawshank' Darabont. Bring it on!
 
the story twist could be that her mum sent her to tescos because she's not actualy her real mum and the whole thing is a set up because her fake mum wants her dead.

Dunno why her fake mum wants to set her up though :confused:

i think by calling your screenplay that, you might have shot yourself in the head, whereby distribution and sales are concerned :D somehow the massive retailing juggernaught that takes
