F word continually? When at work, most of the men there tend to use the F word every other word, and he is sick of hearing it. He has mentioned his dislike, but has been told he needs to have a "Tough hide" he has been working this job for 22 years and as a senior military employee and with only 2 years to go he is tired of the feeling of being brought down by the younger set who feels that curse words are the norm. How does he let them know he's sick of it! He has tried many approaches but nothing works. He has gotten to the point where it effects his home life and he dreads going to work each day...

Well, if he can't do anything to MAKE them stop using bad language, like give an order and punishment then he is going to need to learn a better way to deal with it. I know that is not what he wants in this situation but if they won't change then he must. He must learn a way to deal with that situation or he will be angry and dissatisfied for two more years. He does not have to be that way, even if the others continue to curse. It is his choice alone to be angry and upset and to take it out on others, no one makes him feel that way, he chooses it. He must learn a new way to deal with problems at work and his emotions. Even out of the military he will encounter stressful sisituationse must learn better ways to cope with his emotions or he will always feel those bad feelings. The world won't change so he must. I know that is not what we want to hear but it is the reality of the situation.

are you sure there isnt something more to it? i mean, its effecting his home life ?!
yes, i understand its irritating , but if it is having that ill an effect on him, he may want to consider getting some council.
