Okay. My husband tells me he really wants a motorcycle. I am completely against it, but I guess all guys go through that phase. He's not going through mid life, lol, he's only 22. But the real question here is what kind of motorcycle. Being a guy, (no offence) He didn't want to do any research and was only interested in what his friends think are cool. Well, I know better than that.
Anyways, I was looking at Ninja 250R 2008. They are for new and inexperienced riders, very inexpsensive, look nice, and still top off at 105 (which he better not be going faster, we have a baby he has to see grow up
) First thing he says is "250's suck" and they aren't cool. He wants a 600 of sometype. Well in my research I read that it was pretty dumb to start off with a 600 if you have no experience, and the Ninja 250's had amazing reviews.
Any advice as to what would be best for him, and if it is the 250, how to convince him it is COOL.
Maybe I made him out to sound a little more immature than he is. His friends made him want a bike, and i guess since he doesn't know a whole lot, he takes what they have to say to heart. He says that a 250 sucks and isn't good enough because apparently they told him that. I like the tradeup idea.
also, he already knows hes taking the msf course and agreed to that first thing.
and finally, we do have a savings account for our childs college with a good amount in it for her age. We are ahead of ourselves at the moment, and he is in the military and recieved a re enlistment bonus. we saved away most of it, but he wants to use a couple thousand as a payment towards his "toy"
