Well since he doesn't know what the Air Force is like yet.

He cannot really make that decision right now.

If he called you after the first week, EVERYONE hates the first week.

But I bet after a couple of weeks, he will change his mind.

The Air Force isn't like Basic, once your out of Basic.
 
...out of the military? I got married right out of high school to someone who is now enlisted in the air force. Times are really bad now that he is gone. We both decided that the military wasnt right for him or us.
 
breach of contract.? is the best but idk. i would not even get out. airforce is one of the best branches you can join. im
 
He could try making a pass at his commanding officer. Be warned though, if they feel he's doing things to get out, they'll just make it harder for him. Best thing is to man up and fulfill his obligation.
 
...as soon as he finishes his enlistment... he'll get an Honorable Discharge... "If" he forces the issue to get out early, he'll only get "kicked-out" with a "Bad Conduct Discharge" or a General Discharge... (neither) will be good as he goes thru life !
