...strained with my relationship with? them because of tactics their mother has used to turn them against me. They are finally starting to come around after many years and things have been great lately. Two nights ago my husband received a message on FB from a girl he slept with 20 years ago when he and his first wife were separated the first time. She became pregnant and had his son. My husband has looked for him but until now he did not know where he was nor was he certain of his first and last names. He has spoken to his son and we are both very happy that he is in our lives. My question is this, my mind is tired from so many things that have been going on and I am having a hard time processing everything....so I need your help. He has friended the mother on his FB page and I am a bit confused because he had told me that he had no intention of doing so. The son is 20. I don't know why he would do this. She is 13 years younger than I am and she is a wealthy woman - LOL! OK, tell me about trust but I honestly would like to know outside "whys" of it all. Thanks!
 
I can just imagine how you feel. He has no reason being friendly with her, the friggin "child" that she kept from him for years is now a grown man. He should have a relationship with his son yes, but I don't see a need to be friendly with the mother, especially one who kept his child from him.
 
She is the mother of his son...that's enough to be FB friends if he wants to. Why are people so paranoid about FB friends and status? If he is spending hours a day on FB, talking to exes and friends, then maybe you have a problem. If he is like most guys and checks in for 10 or 15 minutes every once in a while, relax.
