My husband doesn't want to answer my phone calls?

He's a truck driver, driving over the road. He's 33, I'm 32, married for 8 yrs, no kids. He's gone for 3-4 weeks, staying home for only 3-4 days. Today I called his cell, and again, for many hours he would not answer. Finally he answered at 11pm. He sounded nervous. I asked why he didn't answer the phone, since we haven't talked since Saturday. Usually he is the one who calls me, but he goes for days without calling. He then said that he was inside the truck stop watching tv and taking a shower (but for like 5 hours?), and forgot his phone in the truck. He's given me this same excuse many other times, and he is not really a good liar. Whenever we talk, we always have good conversations: I tell him about my days, he tells me about his. I just don't understand leaving the cell phone in the truck and staying out many hours.

You've been married for 8 years so you must know him pretty well ~ well enough to know if he's lying or not. Next time you see him in person, tell him what you told us and gauge the situation based on his reaction and answer. Your instincts will probably be right
