Well, it all depends really when you are planning on concieving again, as im not too sure when you're buying a house. If it is soon, i think condoms are easier since it will be soon and you won't want to wait a while to get pregnant (as it can take up to a year on the pill to concieve)
There is however, a little bar thing that you can put in your arm, and can have it removed when you wish, and im pretty sure you dont have to wait up to a year to be able to concieve.
Obviously sterilisation isnt a good option

as you want to concieve again! And sterilisation will remove the reproductive organs.
There are options like the iud, coil e.t.c but i wouldn't personally go for those as it seems too "faffy" having to have something put inside you e.t.c
The depo shot isn't a good option, as you are protected for one year and you can't "remove" it once you've had the the shot. Like i said, im not sure when you are planning on buying a house so i can't offer much help. And the your body might not "accept" the shot and you're periods may come too often and may stick around for too long. There have been cases where people have bled constantly once having the shot. But different contaceptives suit different people. You've just got to find out what suits you best! (I wouldn't try this option as if you do have your period constantly it can really interfere with your sex life, and thats not good)
There is also natural family planning which you can discuss at your local family planning clinic or with your doctor. It's where you learn when you're ovulating/about your fertile days e.t.c so you know when to avoid sex, and when you can have it. That option seems a tad bit faffy too as you have to learn it and get to know your body.
If you can't decide still, talk with your doctor or with someone at your local family planning clinic as they will be able to give some really good suitable advice! I hope this helps! All the best to you
