I accidentally ripped of part of my Hp Pavilion dv2000 power adapter from the skinny part. Like the part where you insert it into the computer. The base part has some small silver cords coming out, and the part that came of doesnt have anything coming out of it. Do I have to replace it or can I fix it by myself?
I thought maybe if I cut a part of the ripped off cord I could attach the wires from there to the ones coming out of the adapter box. Is that possible?
