My hood latch does not close on my 2004 toyota camry?

It snaps, but then does not close snap all the way. So if I drive 40mph I am ok, but there is that little loose in it that if I go faster than that the hood will bounce up and down slightly and I am afraid it will pop open. I put some wd-40 on the latch parts but it still does not snap close all the way. Do I need to order a new latch assembly from the dealer and find a local to put it in? thanks
