My honda crx wont start, any help gearheads?

Ok, heres the deal.
I was driving to school, and my car died on me all at once.
The car has had problems getting up to normal temprature for driving.
Also, i checked the ecm,(on board diagnostic)
and its showing no code
when i turn the key to the correct position, it flashes once, and then stays off.
the motor turns over, but it just wont start
iv replaced the fuel filter, and the fuel pump seems to be working
any ideas as to what could be going wrong?
Its a 1990 honda crx, automatic, if it matters...
I am reasonably sure its not the alternator, iv had that problem before w/ this car, and its acting diffrently w/ this problem.
 
Sounds like the alternator. If you were operating the vehicle and it just died, that is most likely the alternator.

If the engine turns over, i.e. you have juice from the battery and it won't run, again that sounds like alternator.
