My hobbit game crashes on my Dell Inspiron with Vista. It thinks the game is a virus?

Any ideas what is causing this? It's the Vivendi (former Sierra) version from 2001 or 02, and works fine on my old XP computer. There is a patch they released for some minor glitches, also works on XP, but my newer Dell with Vista just shuts it down.

Any advice on what is going on would be appreciated!
