One of my highway lights had burned out. It was a 25 watt bulb with the wire running off it. I went to the auto parts store and found a 55 watt bulb. I replaced both highway light bulbs so they would be the same brightness. i was riding along and click on the high beam, it worked fine. I had to turn it back to low beam and back to high beam a couple different times due to traffic coming at me. The next thing i know, headlight and hishway lights went out completely. I still had running lights, turn signals, and tail light. I theink its the fuse. should i put a higher amp fuse. or try to locate some 25 watt bulbs instead. I kinda liked the brighter light. what is your suggestion, I havent checked to see if it was the fuse. It was to dark to work on.would it hurt it to go with a higher amp fuse or what would it do. Im new to riding and dont want to wreck something.
