i recently got 2 hatchling red eared sliders of course i cant be sure what their genders are yet but I believe one is a boy and the other a girl. The boy, Matsuflex, is pretty active and he spend a lot of time basking, swims a couple times a day, and feeds whenever i put him in the eating area but hes really shy and im worried he's getting to stressed. The female turtle, Wanda, spends her day under a corner of a towel i put down on the tank, she also hasn't been consistent with her eating sometimes i put her in the feeding area and she eats all the food i give her but other times she just floats in the water and ignores all the food.(i feed them pellets) shes not very active and sometimes just floats in the water not moving a muscle. Can anyone please tell me how i can help them settle easier and explain why they're acting the way they are?
