Ok, my male syrian hamster named Negi is 3 years old and I think his heart is starting to give out from old age. He can't really walk and he is breathing very weakly. I have to put water in a dropper right up to his mouth for him to drink because he is too weak to do it himself. I tried giving him really soft foods but he stilll wont eat. He would nibble it a little then push it away. What should I do? He also is losing all his body heat so i put him in my lap wrapped up in a blanket close to 24/7
I cant take him to the vet to get him put down.
