My gym complains about cracking the concrete under the rubber floor when i set

the weights down? Know why? the floor is rubber and the weights are rubber coated!!!! i dont understand its when i deadlift i dont even drop it hard i was told i was going to crack the concrete under the floor. any one know how much weight that would take when the floor and weights are both rubber coated??? i only use between 225 and 315
 
How is the gym complaining to you? seems odd.

Is the concrete actually cracking? If not, then I'd ignore them. If it is, ask them to get a structural engineer in for a consultation. It may be as simple as setting out a sheet of 3/4 inch plywood for you to work on.

If they persist and there is no evidence of cracking, ask them (I assume this is the management of the gym, not the gym itself, that is complaining) for proof that the cement is in danger.

Sounds bogus to me.
