No, it sounds fine. And ligthen up on your children. They would not put their baby in harms way.

You had your chance to raise your children, now let them do the same. Support, not questioning and being overbearing, makes for a good grandma.

No, its not too dangerous. My son always liked the highest setting too. Its just a nice steady rock. He will be fine, the products are tested to make sure they are safe (untill they are recalled lol). If you are concerned you should tell your son/daughter, and if they think it is fine, then theres really nothing you can do, since it is your GRANDson, and not your son. Mwahahaa! LOL
 
Hello. I don't think it is dangerous as long as your grandson is buckled or strapped into the swing safely and his head is supported if he has a floppy neck still. I used to let each of my girls sleep in their swing when they were infants and they were always ok. I hope I answered your question.
 
No, my son use to love when the swing would go fast, these things are tested for safety so i wouldn't worry about him getting hurt
 
if he likes the fast rocking then it's fine, some babies don't like to swing at all, some like it slow and some like it cranked right up as fast as it will go. as long as his head is supported properly and not flopping around then it's fine.
