My grandmas blaming me because I left the garage door open by a mistake and someone

stole my bike? She is grounding me today because someone stole my bike because I left the garage door open. This happened 30 minutesa go. I didn't mean to leave it open. I usually don't leave it open but hey my grandma left the garage door open so I can park my bike inside. I ride my bike to school everyday. Now what?
Plus we have 2 other bikes but my grandma won't let me borrow them.
 
Well actually if your grandma left it open for u to ride in she was leaving u with the responsibility to close it so u lose.
 
She's just trying to teach you a lesson. Let her/it be. Apologize, tell her you'll definitely remember next time. And let the punishment run through.(It sounds like you've already tried asking her about using the other bikes) Doesn't sound like she'll budge. Parents/guardians deal with things differently, and this is how she's dealing with it. Seems lenient to me. And definitely not abnormal but it does suck. Let it run it's course. Good luck. =)
