I've had my goldfish for about a year now in a tank with my older goldfish. about 2 days ago the little one started to get bloated and then started swimming funny and floating upside down. I Put him in a smaller tank, and the funny swimming stopped, but he's still bloated and now he's losing scales.
His scales are not doing that pinecone thing that I read about.
Is there anything I can do for him??

Every now and then I have a few tiger barbs that will swim upside down. I just don't feed them for a day or so, and throw in some green algae type food. They have always come through it. I haven't seen them losing scales though.
