My girlfriend whines all of the time. How do I make her stop?

Sometimes she whines that she is whiny. I would like her to either drastically cut back on the whining or perhaps stop altogether. When I talk to her about her whining, she whines back you stop your whining. Seriously, there is not anything that she will not whine about. Does anyone else have this problem or does anybody have a resolution? Serioulsy, very whiny.

Does she whine all the time? Or just around her period. If it is around that time of month than you should put up with it.

However, if it is all the time than you need to tell her that it is seriously affecting your relationship. Tell her that you know that you have your own flaws, and you're not perfect either, but the whining all the time has to stop. Make sure you tell her that you don't mind hearing about her problems, but you would also like to hear about more of the positive things in her life rather than just the negative.

I know what you mean.Im like that, but its not something you can really control.I dont really notice myself doing it and it just comes out that way. She probably doesnt do it intentionally.Just try to tell her nicely and say she doesnt notice it, but dont make it sound like its all her fault

tell her you don't want to be with a child and that if she loves you and doesn't want to lose you then maybe she should think about losing the whiny act.

Ugh, I'd just dump her. My ex used to complain about every decision I made. It's like having another child! If you can't sit her down and have a serious adult conversation about how much it is affecting your relationship and she doesn't proactively try to change her behavior, get rid of her. Not worth it.
