My girlfriend has Interstitial cystitis, and our sex life has gone out the window even

intimacy, Please Help? good evening, my girlfriend has been diagnosed with I/C (interstitial cystitis) which im not too exactly sure if many of you know but its a long-term (chronic) inflammation of the bladder wall. Symptoms: Pain during intercourse; Pelvic pain; Urinary discomfort; Urinary frequency, I Have been doing my best to cope with what has been happening, she has been on a very strict diet, which is great for the both of us, but unfortunately her sex drive and intimacy has been gone for atleast 4 months, we dropped from once every two weeks to once every 3 weeks, once a month and now its been two months and no sex, I understand it is painful and I am open for even a rub on my back but I get nothing, I am 24 yrs old and I love her so very much and would do anything for her, I feel selfish asking for sex or some type of intimacy, I mean were all human... we need a little affection, and now i don't know what to do, I am so frustrated, what do I do, I feel like a Jerk for asking, I don't know what else to do....
