more or less financial aid? Currently, she receives roughly $7000 in financial aid per semester at Auburn University in Alabama. This is enough to cover the $4000 of tuition (give or take) with about $3000 for rent and living. We have been talking about her transferring to Southern Illinois University, but she would have to pay out-of-state tuition for the first semester, which is roughly $9000. In your opinion, would she be likely to receive more, less, or roughly the same amount of financial aid at SIUE, assuming she would apply for Illinois residency after the 6 month waiting period? Thanks
