my gears locked on my mountain bike resulting in my back wheel clicking while...

...cycling any ideas? i use my bike daily throughout the day for work so cant get to the bike shop until saturday. also if i lift up bike and rotate the back wheel after each full rotation the wheel seems as though it catching at the same place after each full rotation any help appreciated
