It is dangerous but I'm borderline broke too, like the army effed me over a lot and owe me, so I can't even afford to get it fixed. I'm just wondering what may be wrong.
Pushing down on it has no affect really. It's when my foot is not pressing down or hovering over it. Like imagine a ghost placing his foot under yours and pressing down on the gas, the pedal physically moves downward without me pushing on it.
