Well, for the non working gas hand, you could just fill it to the rim without fail once a week or once every one hundred miles or so. For the brake light, you could just ignore the bich 'cause that's what me and the wife do in our Nissan pickup. We kept pulling over and checking it when we would see it light up when we first got the truck last year, and the fluid resevoir was always full. So, we just see the bich on and don't see it now.

there might be junk on the floater in the gas tank> its not a fun fix but you can do it> the break light means your breaks need work> do the breaks feel spongy or have to push it almost to the floor? if so start with looking for air in the system> it could just need pads but its never that easy for me> and my period key is really messed up too>

I had the same problem with my Dodge Ram. The sending unit is probably bad. That part is in the gas tank, and is a pane in the neck to change. What I did was I found a similar truck in the junk yard and purchased the entire gas tank. I drained the old gas out, changed the tanks out, and filled it up. I have not had a problem since. The gas tank cost me $75 from the junk yard, and was fairly easy to switch out myself. Good luck.

As far as the brake light is concerned, you can get a new switch from the junk yard too. The switch is located on the brake petal, and is an east fix. Those are cheap new from the auto part store also if you would rather get a new one.
