second dryer .? we got another dryer after compleatly rebuilding the first one and the same problem. pse&g repaired a gas valve outside after calling them and still same problem.called them again they came out test the pressure and its good. it does get gas vent is cleaned out. i also plugged it into another outlet and disconnected the vent and still the same problem what could it be ...... please please help us
dryer has been checked vent is not the cause and its getting gas this is our nightmare i have pseng coming to check electricity. if dryer not getting 110 volts could that cause it to start then stop ?
 
Unhook the vent and run the dryer for awhile to see if it happens .That will determine if the vent is the problem .Most manufactures recommend 15' of Vent with one 90 degree elbow installed in it As for not heating up again ... Pull off the back cover on dryer. To check the high limit it is located on the vent outlet tube .It is white in color and has two wires going to it. Use an ohm meter or a test light to check it for continuity. If no continuity then get a replacement at an appliance parts store
