well since this is my first offical post on this fourm i thought why not make it a good one and bitch. ok here the story camping with my friends i see some wasps and i jump on them just a normal jump from standing still and i land wrong and somehow fracture my ankle. also a good kicker on this is that i didnt figure out that i had a fractured ankle for almost a week and a half after i did that so i was drinking wandering around and working on it for along time. so now im in a cast the doc says i may be off for up2 10 weeks and basically that means i cant do fuck all with my cast walking is a pain in the ass and i cant drive my brand new truck that i bought only 4 months ago. also the fact that every week im off work i lose a grand and i have bills to pay and everything. so yea thats my first post and thats what i have to bitch about :mfinger:

It sucks that you broke your ankle, but keep in mind that it was because of your sheer stupidity...jumping on wasps? What are you 10? Not going to get it checked up was your own oblivious thought. Did you probably think you could 'tough' it out or something?

Punctuate, capitalize...how much more can it be stressed? That jumble of letters up their looks like something my manager from Texas would write up, or my 9 year old sister, in which her typing skills are better than that.

I'm sorry about your ankle but since you brought this up I wanted to share in the misery with you a bit. I've had some odd form of what I can only describe as arthritis in my right ankle, shoulder, wrist, that side of my neck, and left side of my jaw since I was a teenager. The ankle and shoulder aggravate me the most but lately... my fucking ankle has been hurting like a BITCH! It usually flares up before big storm fronts move in. I can only assume it's responding to the impending hurricane. I don't know it just fucking HURTS!

I've been living on Motrin and Naproxen with no relief for the past week now. Doctors have refused to call it arthritis since I'm so young, and basically tell me to see a physical therapist and do the exercises and take Motrin. Bastards.

Kich, I'd like that double spaced in Times New Roman by the end of the day please.

By the way, is your avatar Marvin Martian dressed like a little Dutch girl turned Sith lord or something???

OK, I'm done now.

Oh, I know I'm getting older and it's getting worse with every passing year. What pisses me off is all the doctors who have just denied it being arthritis since I was about 24. Call me naive but I would think that it might not be as bad today as it is if I have been treating it for the past 10-13 years or so.

I'm sure it's not rheumatoid as there's really no swelling but it's probably osteo. I'll probably go talk to my doctor about it again, I've only mentioned this in passing to him actually as it hasn't been this bad since I switched to him about 5 years ago. Maybe he'll listen...

Your doctor is a lazy ass prick. I was diagnosed with arthritis in my lower back just this year. I'm only 28. Have you tried glucosamine (sp?). My doctor recommended it for arthritis pain.

Honey, how many different tests have you tried? As I've said in chat before my wife has back troubles. For quite some time we thought it was arthritis, but finally after 3 years, we finally found the problem. We went through numerous tests looking for compression against the spine (pinching that nerve), blood panels to look for osteo or rhumatoid (sp?) arthritis, and still there was NOTHING!She has had such pain, and just as with you... there was no swelling to indicate arthritis or a pinched spinal cord.

Finally we were referred to a different specialist about two months ago. He did what was the third MRI on my wifes back around the L5 region. Upon closer examination he found a rather large bulge on one of her discs. FINALLY! Verification that something was wrong. Unfortunately our medical plan doesn't cover the proper surgery so we won't be able to do the operation until at least next May (proper finances withstanding).

I wish you luck with that Honey... just don't give up hope for finding what's wrong.

Un-fuckin-lucky dude! Although this could be a sign. Don't try and jump on wasps. Seriously dude, if you're gonna exterminate use the proper tools, insect repellent maybe.:D

I'd love glucosamine, but that has to be prescribed doesn't it? The docs would have to agree it's arthritis before they would do so. Still I have yet to see my newest one. So, here's hoping...

Beef, I'm really sorry about your wife's pain. I hope something can be done soon and she finds relief...

Oh, and kich, if I were more educated on kendo I'm sure I would have figured that out lol. Don't change it, it's still cute!
