My froyo update never came?

Okay so I believe it was Feb.25 where all froyo updates to the Epic 4g and some other phones were to roll out by sprint. Mine unfortuneatley never came, I'm hearing the update was dropped because it crashed certain peoples phones. Is there any word on what's happening? I want my froyo update and flash 2.2!! >:O!
