my friends puppy is digging large holes in the garden and has one or two issues with

eating? hi my friend has a pupppie that is a larso/ jack russell cross and i also have her brother , they are different in size , habit etc as you would expect and even in colouring . Since she was a pup she hasnt been a very good eater and has freqented the vets and is on additional vitamins to combat this , she will only pick at food which worries my friend as my dog is twice her size and eats very well .
she consistantly digs massive holes in the garden , dispite being very well cared for and behaved in all other ways .
she is regularly exercised can anyone help ?
