My friends Fujitsu Siemens laptop don't connect to internet help?

Normally to enable her internet she presses FN and F1 to enabled wireless capability but all of a sudden when we do it now it doesn't work anymore nothing comes up as it used to.
 
look in the Start Menu in the programs list for a Wireless software. it should tell you whether or not the card is enabled.

if it STILL doesn't work, check the BIOS for a Wireless setting. somehow, this happened on a friend's laptop, even though they SWEAR they don't even know what BIOS is.

also, you can open a command prompt and ping google.com to be sure it's not just your internet browser.
 
Make sure that the WLAN switch is switched on. You have to make sure that there is a connection available, or just go to the Network and Sharing Center on your computer.
