My friends car got repossessed?

She got it repossessed about a year ago, and now they are calling her and saying that she needs to pay 300 bucks a month. She knew that she would have to pay the difference but she obviously can't afford that payment considering she lost her car. She tried to make an agreement of a different payment amount but they say they won't accept anything less then 300. What can she do?
 
tell her to forget about them for now ,they would have reported it to the credit bureau by now anyway. wait for sometime and call them to renegotiate on the balance . they will be more than happy to get anything at that time . i did it
 
she needs to get someone to represent her, lawyer or someone from a company that handles this type of thing, she has rights and should not let them bully her
