Last summer, my friend borrowed a Bike from our other friend because he didnt have one. The friend who borrowed the bike doesnt live in my town and he needed a place to keep it so he asked if he could keep it at my house and I let him. Recently, the Bike got stolen and I don't know what to tell my friend... Do I have to pay for it? I mean Idk cause it was his responsibility when he borrowed it from my other friend and HE asked ME if he could keep it at my house. What do I do and what do I tell both of my friends?

The person who borrowed the bike is ultimately responsible, unless the bike was stolen because you left it out somewhere or moved it from where you told him he could leave it.

If you left something at a friend's house to store, because you didn't have space or a proper place, and it was stolen from your friend's house...would you hold your friend responsible or would you just think "darn" and consider it a loss to yourself...one of those things that "just happens" sometimes?

you're not to blame............... (in my opinion, of course). try and sort the problem out by talking to your mate, but it's not your fault, I reckon. bye and good luck

Neither you or your parents owe him any thing. It is was his responsible to make sure that bike was secured
