my friend went to jail a few weeks ago, and now he's complaining about many...

...things, this may be a long? questions, just to give you a heads up. anyway my friend who is 20 years old, was sent to prison for animal cruelty charges, he is only their for 6 months, but anyhow, he has so many issues that i hope i can help him with, heres the list

1) its summer so he hates the heat, this kid never slept in a room without Air Condition, so he is having a really hard time adjusting.

2) he is bored and said he is going crazy, he feels as though he is missing out on things, like swimming and movies and such, etc...

3) his girlfriend who he loves very much is sort of dating another guy and this is driving my friend nuts, he knows who the guy is but he can't do a thing about it, from in their.

4) This is a big issue he has, he currently shares a cell with another inmate and he said that when the other inmate is going to the bathroom, my friend can't stand the smell he throws up everytime.

5) He has issues adjusting to privacy, like he gets stomach cramps from holding in his bowels. he just doesn't feel comfortable going in front of others.

6) my friend is just sad and i feel really bad for him i don't know how i can help his girlfriend doesn't reply back to me or him. he i just a mess and i'm trying to be a loyal friend, i know he screwed up but people do worst things i beleive.

So can anyone help me give him advise on the things i listed, on what he should do? thanks in advance.

Hopefully he will learn from this and work on not returning.

I feel no pity for him, he created his own problems.
 
jails are for punishment...his apparent suffering shows the system is working.
for your next entry here, say a few kind and noble words for the poor animals he abused
 
He went to jail for animal cruelty?

If it was up to me, he would be a LOT more uncomfortable. It's a jail, not a country club - don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

It's nice of you to want to help, but frankly, he's a loser who deserves punishment.
 
Lift weights, play basketball, read....anything to get through the day. It sucks but that's why crime does not pay! Tell him to keep to himself and don't get involved in gang activity because he will be there longer!
 
He needs to suck it up and be a man.

Next time he should stay out of trouble, I hope it gets worse for him.

Animal cruelty...what did a poor animal do to him? They say animal cruelty leads to serial killing, better drop him as a friend. The only smart one is the girlfriend.
