...I persuade her to change? My best mate's getting married next year and has asked me and 3 others to be bridesmaids. I'm honoured as I have known her since we were 11, 20 years now, we're both 31.
Anyway, the dresses she's chosen are bright gold satin but to me they represent a tacky tin foil look and I fear we'll stand out in the wrong way and look a bit brash and trashy. Obviously it is her choice and her wedding but how can I subtly get her to change her mind to something a little less garish?
I think the bride should be the one to stand out, not the bridesmaids!
