He won't listen to me!
I told them these bikes are underpowered, too expensive and unreliable.
HD is close to bankruptcy, if they go under, his warranty and replacement parts will be nonexistent.
HD's are uncomfortable, hard to ride and handle, the vibration will make it a miserable riding experience.

I showed him a brand new Yamaha Star Venture for $12,999, but he still wants the HD Road King for $17,999

HELP ME !

If he's gonna buy it, then he's gonna buy it.

You can't cure stupid, and that's the prevalent trait of the harley fanboys. Taken in with all that SHINY chrome.

Interestingly enough, many animals are taken in with the shiny...hmmm.

Compared to a sport bike, yes HDs are underpowered but maybe he has no desire to go 180mph.

HDs are very reliable - you have no clue what you are talking about.
HD is nowhere near bankruptcy and even if they did disappear, there are more aftermarket parts available than factory suppliers for other makes.
HDs (especially the touring bikes) are extremely comfortable and easy to ride.

YOU HAVE NO CLUE!

Jack--its a free world--he can do what he wants---and if it all goes to crap--its his own problem--not yours.

A Hog is a statement that has nothing to do with performance. My favorite bike was a hard tail panhead with suicide clutch and was raked and chopped with a peanut tank.

I would start by getting a drivers license bart. I would be more inclined to listen to a friend who has ridden the bike he is slagging.
