My friend since reception/kinder garden hasn't invited me to his 16th..?

I had a friend who would do the exact same things and this guy was my supposed 'Best Friend'.

He hung out with me all of the time but when anything like a special occasion came up he would brush me off and invite all of the more popular people and not me.

This may sound harsh but I practically told him to fuck off, it wasn't just the fact that he pushed me aside at every opportunity he got to hang out with more popular people, he also started insulting me, making fun of me and only came to me when the more popular kids didn't want him etc, etc.

I'm a very nice person so this wasn't exactly the most easy thing for me to do but I'm also the type of person who only calls someone a friend if they mean a lot to me, I would prefer one great friend to a vast circle of people I merely like.
 
When i found this out.. i almost felt replaced. (we'll call my friend Tom) I've known TOm ever science we've started school..and now we're at secondary/high school and just the other week i discovered he was having a 16th.. b-day. He's invited all the "so called popular people" Who aren't really popular, they just loove the booze and sex..and there were a certain amount of people he could invite.

What really gets to me was, how could he choose those guys over me..Im sure those guys won't help him when he needs it, im sure they'll use him and abuse his party. I on the other hand have respect for him and have always helped him out..

Im come to the conclusion, what the heck?! What am i supposed to think of him now..?

Maybe you're just boring. Crash the party if you want to keep him as a friend. Bring vodka and hot russian girls, he'll definitely invite you to the next party he has! If you are underage to buy alcohol get your dad to do it, he'll understand.
