My friend lives on the Army base in Japan. What should I send him?

My best friend and his wife moved to the Army base in Japan. I would like some ideas on what to send him from the US that they don't have access to in Japan.

Maybe some types of candy? Magazines? Toiletries? Knick-knacks?

I would love any ideas you have, preferably something easy to send.
