My friend just bought an 07 Honda Civic Its got problems?

He just bought it he paid 18,000 for it with 24K miles on it.Just three days later the transmission started to slip when he tries to accelerate at any speed the car also shutters and makes a high pitched squealing sound at the same time he tries to accelerate. The car drove fine on the test drive he accelerated with it and everything we had he car out or a good 15 minutes. The Dealer is giving him a hard time about giving the car back so what can he do?. He has a warranty on the car but they are not honoring it.
Yea Will T I know thats why I drive american LOL. But I have to try and help him now because he spent all of his savings on this car.
 
don't back down. Take the car and have it looked at by another mechanic, take the "write-up" back to the dealer and tell them they need to address the issues found. If they refuse, call the Better Business Bureau. Whatever you do, don't give up.
