My friend has been at first involved with a Filipino woman via introduction of her cousin in a casino to contact her on line, and have been talking by internet, cell phone and web cam. She has also infiltrated his family members the same way. He went to the Philippines once-4or 5 day visit, met her family and the last 4 days he was given unlimited access to her for sex. He returned home and has been sending her money periodically , reasons unknown. All the above took place behind his family, friends and co workers backs and only brought to light when challenged through a rumor and its validity.. He also broke off a committed 8 year relationship to do this and when that party tried to make an appointment to meet and settle things the Filipino woman emotionally blackmailed him on line by saying she was jealous and would bail if he met her. He has been effectively cut off from his buddies, friends and the very woman that appears to be a threat to the Filipino woman(no threat, it she gone on with her life but is vigilent) He has now applied to bring her here and marry her-there is something very wrong here and needs to be addressed by the proper authorities. Who are the proper authorities? This Filipino woman cannot enter the US without a passport-none are being issued for the Philippines or accepted from the Philippines which is a firm determent, yet he is convinced to file papers, get a K! visa-not allowed without a passport, send her money to come and all that baloney. Bottom line is money-money-money what is the scam and does anyone know how this scam works?
