...medical knowledge help? I'm currently on webmd.com too but I'd prefer it if my answers were a little more personal rather than just clicking on random links of symptoms. That way the accuracy may be a bit better. Anyway,my friend, for months have had problems with her stomach. She's 18, really physically fit (although not over the top obsessed with working out), and the only thing that her family has history of is diabetes.

She tells me recently that after a meal, she threw up (without forcing herself) and noticed small splotches of blood.

She describes the pain in her stomach as sort of this odd pressure that goes from around her lower abdomen (concentrated on her right side mostly) and travels up to her rib area. It's not a sharp pain, just this dull one and she has to go into a fetal position whenever she sleeps. When the problem first started, she wasn't taking any narcotics or any form of drug abuse, but she also had some constipation problems so she took some antacids and the constipation went away but the abdominal pain itself is still there. When she threw up, it was after she ate. She was feeling a bit nauseous and her stomach started developing that feeling, so she drank some water. Afterwards she immediately threw up with the blood.

Help? Anyone?
