...bubbling and boiling.? There are not broken hoses or anything. Once the truck cools down (20 minutes) it will not overheat again. Until maybe the next time I got farther. This is a very new event. I added coolant again, and for now, it idled 30 minutes no over heating. What makes it all of the sudden boil over fast like that? Go from cool to HOT real fast?
In October, Firestone replaced the thermostat and then flushed the radiator. NOW, they say it could be a head gasket since it loses a little coolant each time its starts or maybe needs a whole new radiator? Wouldn't they have seen that when they flushed it in October?
