My ford probe 1991Stalls,Idles really low,and after 10 mins of driving it dies! HELP?

well we just replaced the timing belt and the head gaskets, spark plugs, battery and it has 243703 miles on it.

It Takes FOREVER to start, it wnt start unless i give it some gas, but its takes like 2 mins to start and when i am driving and i come to a stop it dies
 
Which engine do you have here?? 3.0 Vulcan or MAZDA??? EIther way, locate, remove, and clean your IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE. Your engine works BACKWARDS from cars with a carburetor. The "gas" pedal is really the "air"pedal. If you are adding "air" to the engine, and it starts, then you most likley have a VERY dirty idle air control valve. Clean the throttle body as well.If the person that repaired your car did not clean all these things out, he did a very sloppy job. Engines should be clean as new when work is done on them. The IAC valve will prevent a good idle if it is THAT DIRTY!! If this doesn't help, then you have other issues. This cleanign should cost you a can of Gum-out spray. GOOD LUCK!!
