My Fish's face is losing color and I don't know why?

My female black molley looked healthy a week ago then I treated it for fungus with malachite green. the fungus is gone but now my fishes face is going from black to silver. Also, its eyes are a little bubble-eyed. Whats Happening?
 
This often happens when you leave them in the dark for too long
otherwise i don't know

If you changed your water recently, treat it both for ammonia and chlorine. My city re-treated their water last year, with a different kind of chloramine to not evaporate so fast getting out to new suburbs. I used to just let tap water sit a couple days to evaporate, now I have to boil it off. let it go back to room temp, and then add it.
My local pet store will test a sample for free and tell me if the water needs treatment. I am in Ontario, try calling to ask about whether they do that where you are.
 
maybe your fish needed the fungus to live or maybe she is allergic to the chemical that you put in. I have no idea i'm more of a dog and cat person. hope i helped. maybe call up a vet and ask. good luck!
