Hey guys! A couple days ago two of my fishes were acting strange and I realized that there were white spots on them known as ICK. I read from other postings that I have to apply Quick Cure in my tank..how does that work? Do I remove all my fishes and apply quick cure or do I leave my fish in there while applying quick cure? How long will this process last? Also, I have heard from some people that I have to remove the carbon? I am a little confused about it. Which carbon are they talking about? Is it the white sponge on the bottom on the filter or is it the black sandy/rocky thing in the filter?
Is it true that removing all fishes out of the tank will kill all ick?
As of right now, I have removed all my fishes out of the tank. My tank is still running and the filter is also. There are two plastic plants and some gravel in my tank. Oh yeah, btw my tank is only 5 ½ gallons.
