My tank water never seems to be clear ... i have only had it for about a month ... shorter than a month ... and no matter what i do the water always stays cloudy.

Do you have a filter if not get one to keep them from getting sick. and you will be able to see your fishys

Well, it might be just cycling.
You need to get a filter if you don't have one.
If your tank is just cycling it is fine. It will clear up.
If there is algae in the water (it is actually a bacteria I believe) You should do partial water changes around 25%.

You can buy clear drops at the store (like Wal-mart) or fizzy pill-thingys that clear water. That always works for me. =D
