will this be an ongoing problem? as i was saying, i have high NO2 and NO3 levels that are high, i have had the fish tank cycling for a week with 4 small fish, i'm using aqua safe on water changes (20% water changes) i have a fluval 25 litre filter, a bubbler with a carbon pod on the top, a plant and extremely clean gravel. i feed them twice a day with a pinch of sinking pellets. The first few days showed no signs of nitrates, now all of a sudden it's hit. everything was brand new and yes i made a rookie mistake of putting fish in before leaving the tank at least a week or two to cycle.. but what is it i can do now to reduce the tanks high nitrate levels and then whats the best method and products to use for on going general care?

plus will this be an ongoing issue with the tank suffering the high levels? or will it eventually ease off to a safe level?

your tank is not near cycled yet that is the problem it will tank about 6 weeks to cycle....start feed only once a day or every other day for the next few weeks to bring down the ammonia....then the nitrates show up and the ammonia drops to 0 then your tank is cycled...no more fish until then
